The story behind the lyrics are this,
I went out with some girls from work. One of them had her sister with
her and she mentioned this relationship she is involved with.
I asked if he was married, he was.
Well she goes to say , "He has crystal Clear blue eyes".
and my other friend says, "Those eyes belong to the devil".
I knew as soon as I heard those words from my friend that I needed to write a song.
This girl was into the idea of me writing a song about this so she through out a few statements and they were written on a napkin.
We also concluded that we needed to find her another man to get her away from Ol blue eyes.
I had a friend that I hooked her up that evening while we were downtown and it didn't take long for them to hold hands walking down the street.
