Song Information:
First of "Three Lorca Sketches for Orchestra." These were inspired by the poetry of Federico Garcia Lorca, and the title of this one is "Es Verdad" ("It is true"), named after the Lorca poem of the same name, which is a kind of tongue-in-cheek lament about the pain of loving someone. Because of the humour in the poem, this music is lighthearted.
The first piece in the set is called "Interlude" for string orchestra, and was uploaded here a few years ago.
