Song Information:
Electra is the subject of a Greek tragedy, originating with Sophocles' play, that has been adapted by many other playrights, including Euripides, Jean-Paul Sartre, and, most famously, Eugene O'Neill (Mourning Becomes Electra) and turned into operas and films. Electra's story is one of betrayal, murder, and revenge. Hmmm. Sounds like a daytime soap opera.
Electra, the celestial body, is one of the seven brightest stars in the Pleiades cluster; those seven are named for the Seven Sisters in Greek mythology.
This fifth tune in the Starry, Starry Nights album uses four string tracks (EXS-24 double bass, cello, viola, and violin instruments from the sadly now-defunct Wizoosounds.com), five Blue soft synth tracks, one Zebra 2 soft synth track, a Linn drum kit track, Festival Lead, Aggressive Synth Bass, and two Piano tracks.
