Song Information:
This is a song Lisa wrote using Garageband loops about 18 months ago and posted up at macJams, but ended up taking down because she was always really uncomfortable with the ooey-gooeyness of it.
She wrote this song in a moment of pure love, though, and couldn't really let it go, so she went to Jim and said, HELP. He came up with a really, fun, quirky arrangement that has taken it out of the realm of ooey-gooey and turned it into a more light-hearted and fun song. Musically this is his tribute to Sufjan Stevens and The Penguin Cafe Orchestra.
We are also both big fans of The Weepies and I thought it might be kind of cool for him to sing a second part to the song, since the original was loaded with harmonies. Note the Mmmmm-bops at the end, our tribute to Hanson!
