When I was a kid (8-10) my parents forced me to take piano lessons. Back then, playing the piano was more of a chore than anything else. So after 2 years or so I talked my parents into letting me quit. Fast forward a couple years. I was in seventh grade (13 yrs old?) and I heard my mother play the first movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. The subtle beauty of her performance inspired me to begin playing again.
This rendition reflects my long time love of the acoustic guitar, and my delight at being able to record that great sound without having ever picked up a guitar. This song was put together pretty quickly. I basically just played the song through a couple times to get a feel for it (it had been years since I had played this piece), and then hit the record button and played it through again. I hope you all enjoy!
