Song Information:
In high school (mumble mumble years ago) I had to write a composition for music. I'd just read about the bombs which may not needed to have been dropped at the end of WWII so I composed a pentatonic-influenced guitar piece but always heard it with much more included. Finally, in a new century, I had the tools to do it something approaching how I hear it in my head.
When will mankind learn that suffering only begets suffering? One tribe of monkeys bombing another just gets those monkeys all riled up to bomb back until one of the tribes has had enough and either walks away in disgust or uses the "ultimate bomb." This song serves as a reminder that walking away from violence is the stronger, more humane option.
Walk away from violence and hatred, don't engage it.
