Song Information:

Not entirely sure what I think of this one. I'm experimenting with some new toys. I bought a Yamaha DD55C drum pad (which is excellent) and am trying to teach myself to drum. (hence the basic beat - I've only been learning 3 months). I also invested in a MIDI/USB interface as I have an old Yamaha PSR 500 keyboard which I can use as a MIDI controller for GarageBand. Also the drum pads are MIDI so I can either play the built in drums via MIDI, or use the kit's native sounds via the standard jack and record as a "real" instrument. This song uses GarageBand's "Rock Kit" via MIDI. The bass track is recorded via MIDI using my keyboard and the "fingerstyle bass" voice in GB. I may end up re-recording the vocals and the main guitar as I'm not too happy with them, but I'm tired of farting around with this song too much. Any coments are appreciated.

Song Lyrics:

Funny how I have such trouble thinking right down to your level
You've never been less than a friend to me
It's strange how others could see quite clearly, all the things that oh so nearly
passed me by 'cos I was too blind to see.

CHORUS:
Faded away like the warmth, from a brick wall when the sun goes down
Faded away like the smile from a clown

I'm worried by your best defence of bloody minded ignorence
Like no-one else can have a point of view.
Your pound of flesh and your two cents, the jaded face of indifference
I hope someday, the truth will dawn on you.

(Chorus) x 2
