Song Information:
From Joanna: Many months ago, Alley Oop contacted me to be part of a jazz collaboration that he was setting up. He sent me a file from Mcboy that had guitar and drums. As soon as I heard it, I began singing, finding my melody and theme almost instantly. I wrote the lyrics, laid down the vocals and then the file went to Daphna, to put some killer keyboards and bass to the file. I'm in love with this song because of the incredible musicians who were a part of it. I hope you enjoy it as well.
From Alley Oop: "McBoy gave me a guitar file and said have fun with it. I knew exactly who I wanted to ask to be on this song from that moment. Joanna is the quintessential jazz singer, she immediately came to mind. As you will hear, my instincts were correct. I knew I wanted keyboards. There are many MacJam keyboard players who I like. But I knew I wanted to ask Daphna. I never heard her play a track like this, but her songs have always lefted me very impressed. She has a wonderful flare. I also wanted to have Cameron play his french horn and harps. And I wanted to play simple guitar riffs. As the song progressed, Cameron and I realized that the version (here) with Mcboy on guitar, Joanna singing and Daphna on midi piano and midi bass, was perfect! And we felt any additional instruments would crowd the 'playinig field' I am very, very happy to have pulled these three players together. This song is fabulous. Kudos to all three."
From Daphna: I added in piano and stand-up bass. I really enjoyed the experience. I love the song and think we make an outstanding jazz trio : ) My thanks to Tom for inviting me to play.
From Mcboy: Sounds great!

Song Lyrics:
Maybe I don't know
How the moon began
It's love affair with earth
Maybe I don't know
How the oceans held
The secrets of life's birth
But baby I do know
That there's no other man
Can take me in his arms and be
All the wonders I can see
Maybe I don't know
How the bumblebee
Learned how to fly
Maybe I don't know
How the flowers
Lured that bee into the sky
::Fantastic piano and guitar duet::
But baby I do know
That there's no other man
Can take me in his arms and be
All the wonders I can see
Heaven sends its stardust
Into every night
You and I, we are just
2000 Fahrenheit
When we pass
Dust turns to glass
Maybe I don't know
How a bird can find
It's way back every year
Maybe I don't know
If that bird has got
A lover far and near
But baby I do know
That there's no other man
Can take me in his arms and be
All the wonders I can see
