Approximately 2/4..or 1/2 depending on how you look at it.. of El Ka Bong attended the Grassroots Festival in Trumansburg NY yesterday. I must say, it was an amazing experience that shall indeed be repeated next year.... and we wont be as woefully unprepared as we were. 6 people in one tent. No blankets. No food with us. No instruments. Yeah, we're going to be ready for next year. Hopefully we'll even get to play at it!
Hippies, art, music, campfires, friends, impromtu jam sessions with mandolins, logs, and bags of charcoal. It was pure magic.
Speaking of magic, the last Harry Potter book came out today. I couldn't care less but I know half of the country is sitting in their house reading it right now. How bizzare

El Ka Bong will not stand for the crappy pop musica! El Ka Bong will crush all of the crappy pop musica with a giaaannt acoustic guitar...similar but not quite the same as the Quick Draw McGraw character... who also hit villians with an acoustic guitar... yeah, ours is a giaaaant one. So yall best be backin off me naa'.
It would appear to me that out of all the rooms that one would find in a house... its hardest to motivate yourself to clean the bathroom.

Greetings greetings one and all!
Its the Dice Master here with the very first blog entry on the JamRoom floor. I guess I should probably introduce the intensely awesome members of the band - so when we're famous, you guys can be like.. "yeaaah I remember reading that one Dice guys sicknasty blog on them like 6 years ago!"
El Ka Bong! is a band that specializes in making songs up on the spot. We play a plethora.. yes. plethora of different genres of music. The magicians behind the.. magic show? include:
Aaron Holland - who masters the keyboard with ultra dextrous fingers.
Jamie Ralls - who pounds the drumset with meticulous accuracy and never.... NEVER.. misses a beat
Zach Schoonover - who makes the bass guitar sing like a canary.. if a canary had a very low end sound to its song
James Eddington - whose guitar playing makes the almighty Zeus weep
