"Johnny (My Fake Buddy Holly Song)"

I wrote the music and the first verse of this song about twenty or so years ago, about my boyfriend, Johnny, and me. Our time together was very magical. We used to like to listen to older music, like Buddy Holly and a whole bunch of others. I added the rest of the lyrics more recently. I wanted it to sound more real and natural, but that's beyond my own capacity and i had to chop up some drum loops, adjust some bass loops, play keyboard as guitar, it's all synthetic and i wish my voice sounded nicer, i can't sing in tune, and i'm too tired to bother with it anymore. Just needed to do something. I didn't know what else to do and am surprised i even did this much today. It sounds better on my headphones, sounds crappy on my computer speakers, have no idea what it sounds like on a stereo. Still, i like it for some reason, probably the personal nostalgia. Hey, at least it has some nice drums! (Well, i like them.) Anyway, here is my fake Buddy Holly song.
