Hiya,
Well, me, along with thousands of others, have spent the month of Feb writing and recording a 10 track cd. My own brief was to write a happy/positive bunch of songs as my default mode tends to be a bit on the gloomy side. It's been pretty full on but ultimately very satisfying and I'm pleased with the results. I've posted up three of the tunes - tractor song, you saved me and just being with you - for your listening pleasure. As ever, hope you like 'em.
Suffice to say I have neglected my other on-going techno/rock project and to be honest I need a little break from recording to get on with all the other mundane tasks I've been avoiding these past four weeks. That said, I'm sure it won't be too long before I get back to it.
Anyways, if yer interested pop over to www.rpmchallenge.com and see what me and countless others have been up to. There's some good stuff on there. Oh, and as usual any comments good or bad gratefully received.

I have been writing and recording music for a long time now and still have no definitive sound. I listen to all kinds of stuff - from AC/DC to Ray Baretto, Macy Gray to Burning Spear, Caravan to The Stanley Brothers - I'm sure you get the idea. As a consequence I tend to write songs in various styles.
Previous efforts include a powerpop cd I made while living in Australia, two folky/bluegrass albums and an eclectic mix of tunes I wrote while trying to find my way around Garageband.
I've written and recorded many, many songs over the years, but have only been recording on a Mac for about a year. Prior to that I was using a digital 12-track (Akai DPS12 if yer interested!)
I'm currently attempting to write a techno/pop/rock affair and the tracks on this site are the ones I'm happiest with so far. The drums, organ and synths are loops and I play and sing the rest.
As I progress I'll put up other songs, so if you like what you hear please pop back occasioally to check for new tracks.
Obviously I'd be interested in any feedback so, whether you love or hate my songs please feel free to leave a comment.
