| "Locked-in Freshness" | |
| I keep my heart in a ziplock bag cushioned by styrofoam peanuts Then I roll it in a dirty ole rag And hide it in frozen halibuts Why do I go to so much fuss? Why bother guarding my heart? There's really not much to discuss To me, it's just being smart No one will steal a frozen lump Hiding amidst the fish No one will break my tender pump Keeping it free from anguish So heed my words, you silly doof And guard your heart as well My whole, frozen heart is the proof Even if it does sorta smell. | |
