| Over on Macjams they had a challenge to post a spoken word reading of one of Edgar Allen Poe's poems, over an original musical bed. I decided to take the Poe challenge with my favorite of his poems, "The Raven." Now, technically, it should be read by a male, but I figured it was okay cuz I have a low voice. The music was improvised on the keyboard. No loops (shocking!), no pencils, just me playing the keyboard. I don't actually know how to play the keyboard, but I decided to fake it. There's a violin, a cello, and some tympany. My apologies that this is posted after Halloween. I hesitated posting it here because I wasn't sure if anyone would like it. But when I thought about that, I figured what the heck. I love this poem, so why not post it?  | |
