» Trans Canada Highway Stories

This song has been about a year in the making and a total break from the norm for me.
I was skiing in Canada last April and the bus drivers that ferried us around to the various ski areas had a lot of local knowledge and were always telling us these kind of stories. I jotted a few down during the 10 days (and actually heard 2 different versions of the Ha Ling Peak story – I chose the one I liked best).
I have a Canadian friend who I asked if she would narrate it for me. She agreed and 4 months later I actually wrote the text. Marie recorded the words over the Xmas period and I’ve put this together on-and-off over the last month.
There is one Apple loop used, the rest is keyboard typing using various instruments. Slightly tweaked in Oxone3 and here we go – Kindly narrated by Marie Shields – Trans Canada Highway Stories . . .
