I grew up on dire straits, def leppard, phil collins, and eric clapton. Then pink floyd and metal happened to me. Did the post-rock thang for a while, thinking my 'tortured' soul could could only express itself in chaotic guitar crescendos. ha! Unfortunately, I completely smothered any potential of post-rock band by murdering our beautiful melodies and delicate playing with massive dueling harmonies and other 80s histrionics. hmm.
Then went to Japan and discovered a true and pure passion for whiskey-fueled karaoke. Utterly shameful.
So, let's try and squeeze all that into some simple catchy songs, or something.
