Great Banner, Rich. I've got some lyrics coming along, and anything off my "Mention the War" album is up for re-interpretation by the BBITW. (just two tracks up so far - Torture and Warmongers)

What a good idea. I'm in, if there's anything I can do. Any tunes by me can be used or abused of course.

Wonderful! Great to have you on board!
What about if I download the tunes from your jamroom and upload them to The Biggest Band in the World jamroom?
You (and anybody else) that shares anything as part of The Biggest Band in the World, retains the copyright to your songs, artwork etc, and can do what you like with them under your own name.
The banner was created from a graphic from istockphoto, and was quickly done, if anybody wants to create something better - please do - I am expecting great things, after all, we are The Biggest Band in the World!

Would be nice to have a huge jamroom with songs from everyone who agrees with the sentiments. Perhaps if any tunes are used - a special "donation" message from the artist could be included in the song info?
I'm off abroad for a week or so in the morning, I'll try to keep up with this, if I can. [Internet Explorer is bad enough, but it's plain murder in Italian! I doubt that I'll be able to find a Mac.]
Great idea Rich - I hope it takes off.

Yeah, great idea, about the huge jamroom.
Once we finalize a logo/graphic we can make some graphics saying: "I'm in the Biggest Band in the World".
Arrivederci Dava, hope you have a great time.

Feel free to pop Warmongers up, Rich. I'd like to learn to sing before Torture goes much further

Excellent, Warmongers is a great tune, a great way to get things started.
I have added Wanna be your friend too - if someone would like to have a crack at the vocals on this, just let me know.

Great idea, Rich, lets hope it becomes a mighty mighty movement. I'd been wondering how there could be a live aid for the internet, you beat me to it!
Feel free to have at Karma Sutra with reworked lyrics, too. I'm thinking something like...
They bomb each other senseless
then wash it down with hatred
They won't stop until the earth is scorched
Stop it! Stop It! Ceasefire!
I'm begging on my knees.
Is this all that human life is worth?
And as the sun explodes,
in dawn's murder of the night,
do you think we'll ever get it right?
Anybody want to have at the other verses?

Also thinking about reworked existing songs, should we all get as many of us as possible to sing a line of the things we do? Or is that too Live Aid cliched?
And Careless Bastards is also up for offer (while KS is redone and beyond) as a sarcastic little goad to examine ones conscience (I'll need to upload a hifi version for inclusion)
