In a music industry first, Cardinals In Arms have released their new album Audio Warfare for free download. Download today, no more to pay, even the cover art is free!

CIA are to hardcore electro what Greenday is to punk. This is dookie on decks, and that's a good thing! The poo jokes have hit the fan and the groove is enough to even get a presbetyrian* swingin their bottom in time to the music. (*Presbetyrians: God's frozen people, wouldn't swing if you hung 'em. :D ) You've heard of "block-rockin' beats"? Well these are beats so fat they're bowl-blocking beats!

The Cardinals sound leans to the dark and tense. They mix up their tempos, use the overdrive plugin to generate an aggression usually only found on the football field. The title track would be equally at home on a rave sound system and a goth club, intense and hard driving, but joyous, too.

The rich textures and frantic double-time of Feels Like Fist would be at home in a loungey cafe or at 3am in Goa at an illegal doofa. The sound will get you high enough.

This no techno-by-numbers plugin band. These guys are uber producers, yet they have a sense of fun, even exuberant stupidity, that reminds this reviewer that we need to take the time to appreciate our own stink, bugger the roses!

At the normal list price for a CD from a Virgin megastore, Audio Warfare would be value for money and an essential part of any party raver's collection. That this baby's as free as manure is just a bonus.

Go to war! Download it today. Your own poos never smelled so good, 4 and a half satisfying, bowl blocking U-Boats! :D

And after you download, get the sleave art here...

When you burn your CD of them, set the gap between tracks to 0 for the best segues.
