Lullaby for Grown-Ups

Postby Joanna » Mon Feb 07, 2005 10:46 am

Okay, here's what happened. My friend heard the lullaby I wrote for her, and she really liked it. In fact, she said she planned to fall asleep to it herself. "There really need to be lullabies written for adults," she said. Well that got us both laughing as I improvised some of the lyrics that might help adults sleep. By the end, I'd made another promise to write a song.

The result is Lullaby For Grown-Ups -- be sure to call up the lyrics and read along. It'll soothe you.

this is a wonderful, subtle piece, joanna... instead of the Humor genre, i wonder if it's better suited in the Honesty Of Real Life genre... hehe

the string-music is wonderful. slow, soothing, and terrifically lulling.

nice, light piece to end an evening, for sure! gave me a big smile! ;)

thanks for sharing!

Thank you, guys!

Toots: the music is made of loops from jampack 4. It's all audio, not midi. There are some spectacular loops in that jampack.

Fosco: I knew I'd forget some concerns (and time is a good one). I'm glad you had fun with it!

Boris: We'll have to petition Rich for that new category. I'm so glad you enjoyed the piece.

Thanks again for all the nice comments!
