QT player

Is it just me? The QT player has not played for the last week. Using Safari 4.0, Firefox 1.5. Everything else works fine. I can't listen to any music off the front page.

Nice to see someone posting in the forum. It's more or less dead here now. I wonder if, like me, regulars look in, but just don't bother to post anything? Not good for any newcomers happening along.

I keep looking in but i'm busy and when i can't play the new songs and there's no new posts on the forums I head on out again. I don't like those blank pages with the working QT player (HiFi stream is set to be played by Safari here rather than iTunes) I did listen to Avagadro's Constant tho' - nice stuff Dava

Are you having any luck Chris? You mentioned a possible fix earlier but i guess it didn't come off.

That's me too. I thought the game was called on account of rain! I do listen and download stuff occasionally. RC andrews has a spate of great stuff recently, and there's some new posts from new people that I've like. I've been really busy lately tho!

FWIW, the quicktime works on my old-school artist song page, but not on the song pages you get from the front page or the charts. Such as: Scoota Kitty Wanna Go Outside Now

Oh, and I can't seem to get the links in my forum sig to work anymore, no matter what I try.

If the Quicktime Player doesn't work on the front page, how are plays doing good? It does look like plays are doing good from looking at the charts but I don't know how that works... I hardly ever play anything here other than through the QT player on the front page, unless it's someone I know and am sure it's worthwhile downloading. I am sure I am missing a lot of good music but I don't like to clutter up my computer with downloads I am not sure I want.

If you click the iPhone link, it'll bring up a Quicktime player in a new tab or window; maybe that's how folks are playing stuff?

I think I've had 150 plays in the last 4 days

normally i'd be up over 100 plays per day.

Huh, you're right, so maybe that's it. Which I don't mind either, but maybe instead of saying iPhone it should say QT player and just leave the QT off the song page. Something's mixed up, that's evident.

I might have this fixed. Please let me know. I'm a bit confused about QuickTime plays from the front page. Are you referring to the song link on the front page, that links to the song page? It's the song page that I believe I've fixed.
