QT streams don't appear to be working from the song page. Downloading works, though.

The jamroom Login button is pretty well hidden. Forum login is the green phone button at the bottom of the page now but I can't figure out yet how to access my Jamroom Control Panel.

Logins:

If you're not already logged in to the forum, there should be the username/password form at the bottom of the page, as in the previous version.

It's true the old "About Join Us Sign In" links are gone from the top of the page. I set the blue breadcrumb bar up to have all the old links from the nav bar under the logo. I could undo this a bit, maybe leave just the community link there, and add a link for Jamroom sign in if folks don't want and extra page nav to log in.

Quicktime: I'll have to look into this.

re:jamroom login

OK I see - I go to the home page - http://macidol.com/ - and use the sign in at the top right as usual.

I notice that Spires recent post in the Tunes forum hasn't showed up on the front page. Also, embedding a vid is not possible. Is that because flash is turned off? QT links still not working too.

So my current list o' issues is:

1) Quicktime links

2) News updates on home page (and presumably others)

3) Video embedding: Not sure what you mean by this one. Embedding in a forum post? How are you trying to do it? (If you can give me a link to a post for me to check into, this would help.)

Hi Chris. Yes, normally you can just embed a video in a forum post by copying the embed code from the site where it is hosted. [I've found you have to get rid of some of the coding to make some extra words disappear that show up around the video, but that may just be a quirk of this site. It doesn't seem to happen anywhere else] Anyway - it's not working right now. Look here at the "currently watching" forum.

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2269&start=975

All the coding you see normally shows as an embedded video! Not sure of the technicalities here, but I thought maybe it's because [to the right of this typing] I can see "[flash] is OFF"

The new layout, btw, is really cool. Thanks!

it looks like some of the html stuff doesn't work right. For instance, the links in the signatures for Toots and I show up as code instead of links.

One thing (minor quibble - Ill get used to it I guess) about the iPhone skin is the way the rim looks like the scroll bar of a Safari window that's behind the one I'm reading. Several times I've fund myself puzzled about where to click to get the page to scroll.

So my current list o' issues is:

1) Quicktime links: on the track of this, should be fixed soon

2) News updates on home page (and presumably others): should be fixed

3) HTML in posts: phpBB3 does not allow this for security reasons, and I'm afraid I have to agree. The current model is to use bbcode. You can do URLs with
Code: Select all
[url] and [/url]
.

4) Video embedding (related to 3): Same kind of deal with 3, the lack of HTML in posts is blocking this. phpBB3 allows for custom bbcode so I can make bbcode for embeds from Youtube and such. I'll get on these and announce when available. So far I know that Youtube and Myspace are requested.

5) News page: need new code that supports phpBB3.

6) Forum RSS feed: need new code that supports phpBB3.

7) E-mail notifications: do you mean notifications from phpbb when a topic is updated? I'll look into this.
