What is a provisional artist account?

When you first create your artist account, it is provisional. Provisional accounts have a smaller limit on storage space, and expire after 30 days, removing the account.

To move from "provisional" to "established", simply upload at least one song. Once we see a song listed, we shift the account to "established", and it will no longer expire.

It's best not to push the 30 day limit. The shift from provisional to established is not automatic. We generally go through the list of provisional accounts once a day, but we may occasionally miss a day or two.
