different albums

I would like to have different albums and under the albums your songs for that album.

I know they have that as I had that with a site I used to belong to that isn't anymore.

That feature is already available on two themes here that i know of - the MacIDOL ProJam SA theme, and the Sage theme.

Unfortunately, if you don't care for the look of the themes, there's not much you can do to adjust those. I liked Sage for a while and that's one you can even change colors for, but, that Jamroom banner remains, heh, which i personally don't care for. Would be nice if we could upload customized banners. Then i'd go for that theme, totally. The MacIDOL one is really cool but just doesn't suit my personality.

I think what is being aimed for (although i'm not certain) is to have all themes have the potential to have all features, and people could choose which features they want included and which they don't.

Again, not sure i'm right but that's the impression i was getting.

But for now, those are two themes that i'm aware of where you can do just what you are talking about.

thanks Slumbering I thought there might be something but I don't like the cluttery look of some of the jamrooms. I like the simplfied one that I use but would love to organize it into albums.

well thats my request, whether we can do it or not I dont' know.

The sage theme does have this feature it's true, and I use it for that reason. It's not obvious though. In fact it's buried if you come into a jamroom at any of the upper level links. (try getting from the blog page to the album page)

So .. I'd love to see an Artist page with links to Music, Blog/News, Store, Events etc where the music page has the most recent songs, plus album info, so I can hear what an artist has been up to recently or can go and look at an album/selection/playlist of their songs. Customisable info for the album and a link to an album page with embedded player there and links to the individual song pages.

I really miss ifingers design for the jamroom, but it badly needed album pages for those of us with more than say 30 songs. The current themes are just too unwieldy, and suffer from trying to do everything on one page. I find that I use them less and less to advertise my music. (I feel pretty sad about this).
