Garageband Printouts?

Postby Caravan Ray » Fri Sep 18, 2009 2:24 am

Does anyone know if there is any way to "print out" a Garage Band project?

I have just finished recording an album using Garage Band 2. Lots of fun - but the final "tweaking" stages almost drove me mad. It would have been great to print out the tracks of each song on a big A3 sheet of paper, so I could sit down and listen to the song with a pencil, making little notes on the print out....louder here, echo here, kill this bit, repeat this bit...etc

I don't want a score or anything - just a screen shot of the tracks. But taking an actual screen shot is a bit messy and not very readable.

Any ideas?

I've never heard of any way to do this, certainly not in GB2. I always just grabbed a notepad and made notes based on time markings while listening to the song.

I guess I want something like a Gantt chart printout, like from MS Project (it's the engineer in me I suppose)

Does any recording software do this sort of thing?
