PodTube is a Mac software that will grab YouTube videos from your frontmost Safari window and convert them to iPod format, optionally storing them in your iTunes library.

Actually, I've swung over to Tuboy Jeugo for getting the flash movies and added a free flashmovie codec to Quicktime. Gives more flexibility (like making DVDs of YT flix)

And another for you...
These days I'm using TubeTV, it's a web browser that downloads the flv file, and if you have a codec installed, converts it to mp4 and whacks it into your choice of directory. Seriously craps on anything the spammers are trying to get link equity for.
